Since 2006 estate agents have not been allowed to display boards advertising properties for sale or let in parts of the Barons Court and Sinclair Road areas without first receiving Advertisment Consent from the council. The council carries out regular inspections of the two affected areas to ensure compliance with the Direction. If you live within this area and notice a board that you suspect of being displayed without authorisation please contact the Council's Planning Enforcement Team immediately on 020 8753 1081 or use our online reporting facility.

2010 new Regulation 7 Directions
The council has recently received approval of its applications for four new Regulation 7 Directions from the Secretary of State. These will come into force on 5th October 2010 and the display of estate agent boards in these areas will then no longer be allowed unless advertisement consent has been granted by the council. The council will be carrying out regular inspections of the four affected areas to ensure compliance with the Direction.
