Search for and view enforcement documents, Enforcement document searchThe council’s Planning Enforcement Team deals with the investigation and resolution of breaches of planning control. These breaches are either reported by members of the public or discovered by monitoring building works. Enforcement action will only be taken where the breach of planning control is serious and is causing harm to the local area.
The team aims to:
- investigate every reported breach of planning control
- acknowledge reports of breaches within five days
- report the outcomes of its investigations.
