Planning pre application advice
Planning pre application advice
For more complex cases we charge for pre-application and project advice. In these cases, in line with national planning policy, we welcome and encourage discussion before a developer submits an application. This can help the applicant to identify the key planning issues, avoid abortive work and speed up the statutory process.
We offer some free advice over the phone and at the Environment Services Department reception through our Duty Planner service.
