Preferred Options- June 2007
The Preferred Options for the LDF were developed, taking into account the responses to the Issues and Options consultation in October 2005 and the results of the sustainability appraisal of the options. Preferred options on the Core Strategy and Site Allocations were subject to public consultation from 22 June until 3 August 2007.

Site Specific Allocations : The Site Allocations preferred options include site specific proposals to deliver the policy framework set out in the Core Strategy, including sites identified to deliver housing and other major development needs such as employment, retail, leisure and transport.

Next Stages
It is anticipated that Regulation 25 Options on the Core Strategy will be made available for Public Consultation in Spring 2009. The revised LDS (expected January 2008) will provide an up-to-date programme for the LDF.
