Proposed admission arrangements
Hammersmith & Fulham is the admissions authority for all community primary and secondary schools in the borough. We are consulting on the proposed admission arrangements for our community schools for entry in 2011. We are also consulting on our proposed arrangements for in-year admissions. We are interested in hearing your views on the following proposals:
Proposed admission arrangements for H&F community schools for entry in September 2011 - The LA currently operates a two point entry system for its community primary schools - in September and in January depending on the age of the child. We are particularly seeking views as to whether there is support to move to a single only intake in September of each year. Otherwise, there are no changes proposed.
Proposed scheme for the coordination of admissions to year 7 in September 2011
Proposed scheme for the coordination of admissions to reception in September 2011
Applications for admission outside of the normal year of entry fall under the 2009 School Admissions Code. It is a requirement that all LAs coordinate in-year admissions for all year groups - the process will be carried out in accordance with the Pan-London coordinated admissions scheme as set out in this document: Proposed scheme for the coordination of in-year admissions from September 2010
Any comments/feedback should be addressed to The Head of Information & External Relations by 12 February 2011 at H&F Children's Services Department, Cambridge House, Cambridge Grove, London W6 0LE or email: school.admissions@lbhf.gov.uk
