School Improvements and Standards

Hammersmith and Fulham’s School Improvement and Standards division sits alongside four other divisions in the Children’s Services Department, which also provide key support to schools in areas including extended services, school management support, the youth service and for pupils with SEN.

The division consists of a team of:

» School improvement advisers, most of whom are SIPs or SIP managers 
» CPD
» EAL
» SEN service
» Psychology in Education service
» Individual Progress service
» Music service
» Education Business Partnership
» Centrally Retained Education Welfare (CREW) advisory service
» Educating your child at home
» School Governance Support 

Four other service areas or business units, overseen by management committees, are also part of the division and they comprise:

» Primary Inclusion Development Service
» City Learning Centre
» Virtual School for Looked After Children
