The term and holiday dates shown below are guide dates only. Governing bodies of voluntary-aided (church) schools and academies have responsibility for setting and determining their term dates and holidays but usually will wish to adopt this framework.
As dates vary from school to school, it is wise to check details with individual schools.

The LA has not specified any dates for the PTDs (formerly known as INSETS) for the education years 2012-13 and schools are responsible for their own arrangements. Please check with individual schools for any training day closures that may affect term dates for pupils.
