Our team of advisers and trained volunteers come from a mixture of backgrounds and can:

■ Explain how the system works
■ Suggest who you need to talk to
■ Put you in touch with other sources of help and information
■ Services for children and educational needs
■ What to consider when choosing a school
■ Communication with schools,the local education authority and health and social services
■ Local activities and groups for children
■ Assist you in writing letters and making phone calls
■ Support you in expressing your views
■ Put you in touch with interpreters and translators
■ Act as a mediator
