Arts in Schools are involved in a number of dance programmes including Dance Challenge and Lyrical Dance

Dance Challenge
Arts for schools and School Improvement and Standards established dance challenge with funding from the John Lyon’s Charity. Dance challenge offered teachers continuous professional development through its INSETS. Schools that took part in Dance Challenge performed at the Annual Lyrical Dance event at The Lyric. 

Momentum  Developing dance in West London
October 2006-September 2008

Momentum is an exciting 2 year Dance Development Programme for West London, which is funded by John Lyon’s Charity and ACE. Momentum promises to tackle the lack of infrastructure in which to develop dance and to deliver enhanced dance provision to the community with special emphasis on children and young people. 

Momentum partners are:  London Borough of Brent, Harrow Council, Ealing Borough Council, London Borough of Hounslow, Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, Hammersmith & Fulham Council, London Borough of Richmond.
