Creative mentors
An initiative which links creative professionals with 14 to 25 year olds enabling them to identify ways to further their educationand to develop their careers
The creative mentoring project employs specialist creative professionals to share their experience and skills with young people providing them with an insight into creative industries and progression routes into further education and career prospects.
The involvement of artists as mentors has been found to be highly effective in engaging young people. Creative mentoring also enhances social and personal development by increasing young peoples self-motivation, self-confidence thus enabling them achieve their goals.
