Arts projects

Arts for schools have a number of projects available

Lyrical dancersArtists in schools
The school improvement and standards service and Arts for Schools team have produced an “artists in schools” guide for planning and funding arts projects.

Art By Young People         
A chance for young artists to exhibit their work in various public venues across the borough. 

Borough Open        
An exhibition giving professional and emerging artists who live, work or study in the borough the opportunity to exhibit their work. 

Creative Mentors  
An initiative, which links creative professionals with 14-25 year olds enabling them to identify ways to further their education and to develop their careers.

Continuous Professional Development
Arts for Schools deliver a number of arts training initiative in partnershio with the schools improvement and standards and the play and youth services.

Creative Youth E-Bulletin   
An email bulletin offering up to date information on arts opportunities for young people in and around the borough

Dance       
Arts for Schools are involved in a number of dance programmes including Dance Challenge and Lyrical Dance 

Literature 
Hammersmith and Fulham has a vibrant literature scene with a great selection of projects, readers groups and creative writing programmes.

Music Service          
The music service provides projects at the grass roots through wider opportunities, curriculum support and teacher Continuous Professional Development, enabling pupils’ access to instrumental tuition.

Sculptures in Schools 
An initiative supporting the development of sculpture in schools within the borough.

Local History projects
Arts for Schools will be working with schools and community organisations to deliver projects based on local history.
