Youth information advice and guidance
The Connexions information, advice and guidance service is based at 181 King Street and provides a free and confidential support service for all young people aged 13-19 years (up to 25 for young people with learning difficulties/disabilities) who live, work or study in Hammersmith and Fulham.
The service supports young people to help make choices in life around things like: health, careers, relationships, drugs and alcohol, education, housing, money or things to do if you have some free time.
Personal Advisers (PAs) from the connexions service are specialists in all things to do with careers, education and jobs, and are knowledgeable about lots of other issues as well. The personal advisers are there to support you if you have any worries about which subjects, course, college or university to choose, or if you want some advice to help find a career or a job.
Connexions personal advisers are based in every secondary school and college in Hammersmith and Fulham. You can also access the service at the Connexions One Stop Shop in Hammersmith.
Personal advisers will arrange a time to meet with you, giving you a chance to talk about your hopes for the future, anything you think may get in the way of this, discuss your options and decide what to do next.
They can also help you to access other support or services you may require at the Connexions One Stop Shop.
