Youth activities and projects

Community youth projects

The community based youth projects offer regular evening activities throughout the year for 11 – 19 year olds (or up to 25 for young people with disabilities).  The activities available include a wide range of sports, art, fashion, design, music, drama and dance sessions.  All of the youth projects operate within a safe and supportive environment to help young people to develop the necessary skills, knowledge and attitudes to become active citizens, and provide opportunities for all young people to succeed.

The majority of youth projects and activities commissioned by the council are free of charge, and many allow young people to turn up on the day without the need to book in advance.  To find out more about what is on offer, visit the Youth Life website or contact the organisations listed below.

In order to participate in the youth projects and activities available in Hammersmith & Fulham, young people will need to complete a registration form (pdf 1676kb) on arrival at their chosen venue.

The organisations that provide council funded projects are carefully vetted and monitored to ensure a high standard of provision and adherence to health, safety and data protection legislation.  Please see youth related policies for further information.
