Music service
Hammersmith and Fulham music service offers a wide range of progressive music making opportunities for children and young people, including instrumental tuition on a full range of orchestral and rock and pop instruments, and progressive ensembles, bands and choirs.
Beginner students can loan an instrument free for the first year of tuition, after which we offer an assisted instrument purchase scheme, to enable the purchase of instruments at considerable discount.

Saturday music centre aims to further develop a student's musicianship and playing skills to an advanced standard through lessons and ensembles. Opportunities for Saturday music centre members from 2010- 2012 have included: successful examination sessions, partnered performance with Hammersmith and Fulham Youth Orchestra, Practice-a-Thon, competitive Music Festival, concert visits to Royal College of Music and Fulham Symphony Orchestra, partnered projects with professional musicians from BBC Symphony Orchestra, summer residential weekend.
Students at Saturday music centre receive a lesson package* which includes: lesson option/ musicianship option/ ensemble option. * A student may attend for the musicianship option or the ensemble sessions only, if they are receiving instrumental lessons elsewhere.
