Results of the 2011 Census

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) has now confirmed the publication dates for 2011 Census results

First release July 2012: Age and sex, and occupied households estimates for England and for Wales

This will provide a figure of the usual resident population for Hammersmith and Fulham, as well as some detail of the age structure (broken down into five year bands). Please note this release does not go below the local authority level

Second release November 2012 - February 2013: Key and Quick statistics

This release provides the vast majority of the data that is most relevant to Hammersmith and Fulham and includes ward and sub-ward geographies. Examples of data contained in this release are population density, religion, country of birth, tenure, main language and occupatiion#

Third release March 2013 - June 2013: Local Characteristics

Detailed tables generally including three variables (e.g. country of birth by age and sex)

Fourth release July 2013 - October 2013: Detailed Characteristics, Detailed Theme and Armed Forces

More detailed tables generally including three variables (e.g. sex and industry by age)
