Borough Profile of Hammersmith and Fulham
The Borough Profile provides a dynamic picture of life in the borough and presents information in a visual and easy to use format. The data is presented in maps, tables and graphs - all available to view online.
The Borough Profile pages will be updated on an annual basis to provide the most up to date view of borough life. They will form an online supplement to the hard copy Borough Profile report which is produced by the council every four years.
The Borough Profile is a collaborative project, written and compiled by research officers from across Hammersmith & Fulham council and the Primary Care Trust. It is intended to provide an overall picture of the borough’s demographic, social, economic and environmental characteristics in an easy to use graphic-driven format. The latest version of the Borough Profile is the 2010 update - this replaces the version published in 2006.
The Borough Profile aims to be an accessible reference tool, providing essential information to service providers within the council and its partners who are seeking to meet ever changing local needs. It is hoped that it will also be of general interest to borough residents, the local workforce and the general public alike.
Data in the Borough Profile is presented in a format of thematic colour-coded data themes alongside explanatory text and sourcing information. Within each data theme, data indicators are presented which provide an overall picture of that theme for Hammersmith & Fulham.
The data themes covered by the report are:
- Population
- Local economy
- Housing
- Social conditions and crime
- Education
- Health and social care
- Environment and leisure
- Transport
