The Electoral Services team are responsible for administering the electoral process in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. This means that we:
- prepare and maintain a complete and accurate register of electors
- organise elections and referendums which take place in the borough
- promote public awareness of, and participation in, the electoral process
- provide a high standard of service to all local residents
Review of polling districts and polling stations
The council is carrying out a review of polling districts and polling stations in the borough.

The council will decide on the final polling arrangements at its meeting on 22 October 2014.
Everyone who is eligible to vote must ensure that their name appears on the register of electors. You can apply to be added to the register, or have your details amended, at any time.

Registration has changed
Previously voter registration was done by household. One person in a household completed a form and entered the details of everyone who lived there. The people who were eligible were then registered to vote. Now everyone needs to register themselves individually.

Elections and voting
The next elections scheduled to take place in Hammersmith & Fulham is the General Election on Thursday 7 May 2015.
If you are registered there is a choice of ways in which you can vote. Most people choose to vote in person, however it may be more convenient for you to vote by post or appoint a proxy to vote for you.
