Borough Partnership (Local Strategic Partnership)
Your questions answered:
Q. What is the Borough Partnership?
A. The Borough Partnership is the executive of the Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) and is responsible for community leadership, strategic planning and performance. Hammersmith and Fulham’s Borough Partnership was one of the first in the country and dates back to 1999.
Q. What is the Community Strategy?
A. In 2007 we published our new seven-year Community Strategy - the document that sets out our vision for creating ‘A Borough of Opportunity’. The Strategy was developed with our local partners from across the public, private, voluntary and community sectors and was subject to public consultation through the website and H&F News. The Strategy will direct our partnership activities well into the next decade and will be subject to an annual review by the Borough Partnership.
Q. What is the Local Area Agreement?
A. The LAA is a three-year performance plan agreed by the council and its partners to deliver Hammersmith & Fulham’s Community Strategy, the aim of which is to tackle social polarisation by creating a Borough of Opportunity for all local residents. The seven key priorities outlined in the Community Strategy are reflected in the LAA.
