Crime and ASB and drug and alcohol  policy and monitoring; the Authority’s contribution to the Borough Crime and Disorder Reduction Strategy; parks constabulary, street wardens, estate wardens etc; the effectiveness of Neighbourhood Watch schemes; Safer Communities; drug and alcohol policies; working with crime and ASB agencies to ensure effective enforcement services; policies, implementation and enforcement regarding street cleansing, refuse collection, consumer protection, trading standards, street trading, environmental health , pest control etc.; Security of civic buildings; Licensing and Gambling policies; mortuary/burial/cremation/Coroner services policy; private sector housing responsibilities.
