H&F - an elite council

Hammersmith and Fulham is in the elite band of top-rated councils. It is rated as four star by the Audit Commission, the government's performance inspectors for local councils. "H&F is on the way to becoming a model council delivering high quality services and cutting council tax." Council Leader, Cllr Stephen Greenhalgh.

Performance information is regularly received and monitored by our corporate management teamscrutiny committees and Partners.

Comprehensive performance assessment

The council is subject to external inspection to ensure we are providing high quality services to local people. Each year the council is graded as part of a comprehensive performance assessment.

Community strategy

We work closely with local partners in the Borough Partnership to implement a long-term community strategy to improve the social, economic and environmental wellbeing of the borough.
