Welcome to the Assistant Chief Executive Department page

The ACE department provides support to councillors, scrutiny committees and council committees.  These are the people to contact if you want to contact your councillors, bring a deputation to a council meeting or committee, or ask questions at council meetings.  

The ACE department also covers Legal Services, Corporate Human Resources, Electoral Services and Diversity and Organisational Development.

The Communications and Policy and Equalities divisions are based in ACE too.
