The Audit, Pensions and Standards Committee considers the Council’s annual accounts, and external auditors’ comments on them, as well as the Council’s risk management and anti-fraud functions. It also makes decision on pension fund investment and on member standards.

The Committee is also responsible for the promotion and maintenance of high standards of conduct by Councillors and Co-opted Members of the Council.
