What is a PEIA?
The Predictive Equality Impact Assessment (PEIA) was introduced as part of a new Equality Impact Assessment (EIA) process. A PEIA involves a brief evaluation of every council decision report that proceeds to Cabinet Members which includes proposals that will result in the creation of a new service/policy/function or a change to an existing service/policy/function.
