Single Equality Scheme

Did you know that almost 15% of H&F residents are disabled, 27% of residents in this borough live in poverty, and around 22% of our population are from black and minority ethnic groups?

Hammersmith & Fulham council is committed to delivering a borough of opportunity, providing opportunities for all and delivering better services to all.

The council has updated its Single Equality Scheme (SES) for 2009-12. A key part of reviewing the SES was engaging and consulting with a range of people from diverse backgrounds and groups. We are committed to listening to, and learning from, feedback from all communities in the borough. The public consultation ran from early September to early December 2009. Since then, we have worked to review the feedback and incorporate changes.
