Equality and diversity

Delivering on Equality and Diversity is a high priority for Hammersmith and Fulham Council. 

The Diversity & Organisational Development Division has a key stake in responding to the needs and requirements of local residents. These pages will provide you with an insight into the work and ongoing activities that assist the Council in delivering on its equality agenda.

What do the Equality and Diversity web pages contain?
 
The Equality and Diversity web pages contain a range of information for both staff and residents. This includes:

  • Calendar of Cultural Festivals- the names and dates of many of the cultural festivals taking place in 2006;
  • Equality Impact Assessments- a comprehensive list of Equality Impact Assessments undertaken by the Council in all departments;
  • Equality Standard for Local Government- a summary of the Equality Standard for Local Government and its implications for Hammersmith and Fulham Council;
  • Equality Scheme- the Council’s Equality scheme covering six equality strands;
  • Interpreting and Translating- advice for staff and residents regarding interpreting and translating;
  • Predictive Equality Impact Assessments- advice and guidance for staff required to complete Predictive Equality Impact Assessments;
  • Retrospective Equality Impact Assessments- advice and guidance for staff required to complete Retrospective Equality Impact Assessments.
  • Shared Future- information about the ‘shared future’ agenda in the Borough
