The Policing Pledge

The Policing Pledge is a set of service standards the community can expect from their Police Force. All 43 forces are signed up to the national Pledge - giving the public a new entitlement to consistent national minimum standards of service from the police service – from 999 calls and response times to local meetings and information. 24/7 Policing

Crime in Fulham and Shepherd's Bush has fallen dramatically since a multi-million pound round-the-clock neighbourhood beat policing trial was introduced in April 2007.

Latest figures prove that the two pilot schemes, in the west London borough of Hammersmith & Fulham, have seen big falls in key crimes especially burglaries and robberies.
