The first step to planning your marriage is to select your venue, date and time.
It is important to remember that certain days of the year are very popular, please book early to avoid disappointment. Although Saturdays have always been a favourite, we offer wedding and civil partnership ceremonies seven days a week.

The staff who work in Hammersmith & Fulham register office are dedicated to helping you make your ceremony day a wonderful occasion. Normal opening hours are: Mon-Fri 9.30am-4.pm. Saturday by appointment for ceremonies. The office is closed until 1pm on the last Thursday of every month.

Council Chamber
Hammersmith & Fulham Council offers a diverse range of venues for you to celebrate your special day. Within Fulham Town Hall is the historic Council Chamber which was built in 1888. The wood panelling and beautifully ornate portraits add to the sense of occasion while the balcony provides extra seating. The room holds up to 100 people. Fees for this room vary, please contact the Register Office for details.
The Council Chamber in Hammersmith Town Hall is also available.
Facilities for disabled people - There is wheelchair access to the register office at Fulham Town Hall, which is on the ground floor and also induction loop facilities at reception and in all ceremony rooms. The Council Chamber, Grand Hall and Assembly Hall at Hammersmith have induction loop facilities and the Council Chamber and Assembly Hall are also accessible for wheelchair users via a lift.
