Purchase and reserve service our cemeteries
Residents may choose to be buried or purchase a grave in reserve at either of our two cemeteries located in the heart of Fulham.
We have recently re-introduced the policy of allowing grave space to be purchased for future use. Residents may choose to be buried or purchase a grave in reserve at Fulham Palace Road or Margravine Cemetery. This service is available to non-residents as well as residents at North Sheen and Mortlake Cemetery.
A grave is purchased in reserve for a period of up to 75 years.
The Council will sell the Exclusive Right of Burial for that particular grave and the purchaser receives a legal document called a Deed of Grant indicating that they have purchased the Exclusive Right of Burial in a particular grave. Depending on availability, you may wish to consider purchasing a grave in advance to ensure you will be close to a relative already buried in of these cemeteries.
