Advertising and Trading within the Olympics Venues Zone – Earls Court
The London 2012 website now includes information explaining the special rules on advertising and outdoor trading that are likely to exist around the Olympics venue of Earls Court arena.
If you intend to trade in the designated zone surrounding Earls Court arena during the 2012 Olympic Games you will need to make an application before 29 Feb 2012. Hard copy application forms can be downloaded from the London 2012 website.
The application process and criteria (for authorisation for trading and advertising) including a detailed guide have been made available and examples are given as to practices that do not require authorisation, or can only be carried out if authorisation has been obtained.

## Breaking News ##
An e-learning portfolio of courses should go live in May or June to include Level 2 Food Safety, Level 2 Health and Safety, National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders, COSHH, DDA, and Food allergy and intolerance.
Training courses leading to qualifications awarded by Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance (www.highfieldabc.co.uk or the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (www.cieh.org) are on offer. Subject to demand there are plans to introduce new courses in 2011:

Level 3 Award in Effective Auditing and Inspection Skills

Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering as a two day course with some self study

Level 2 Award in Infection Control

Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering (Refresher) – self study, plus one hour revision followed by an exam.

Level 1 and 2 in Fire Awareness
