LDF Research and evidence gathering
Details of Reports
The Local Development Documents will be supported by an evidence base consisting of research reports, technical papers and on-going studies. These are largely prepared or commissioned by the council. There will also be relevant research from other organisations, particularly the Greater London Authority.
Please use the links below for background documents for the Core Strategy preferred options
- Evidence on employment and live/work uses
- Evidence on retail and town centre uses
- Evidence on general land use trends and from the Census
- Evidence on housing
- Evidence on other matters (including Tall Buildings and Waste)
Other external evidence on factors such as flooding is also often relevant.
Annual Monitoring Report
The LDF system also requires an accompanying Annual Monitoring Report (AMR). The council has recently produced a third:
Sustainability Appraisals.
