Multipliers for 2013/14
For 2013/14 the government has set the following multipliers:
• small business multiplier 46.2 pence in the pound
• standard multiplier 47.1 pence in the pound
• Explanatory notes sent with bills

Crossrail business rate supplement
From 1st April 2010 for properties with a rateable value of more than £55,000 a business rate supplement (BRS) of 2p per pound of rateable value has been levied by the GLA to contribute towards the cost of crossrail.
