Multipliers for 2011/12
For 2011/12 the government has set the following multipliers:
• small business multiplier 42.6 pence in the pound
• standard multiplier 43.3 pence in the pound

Crossrail business rate supplement
From 1st April 2010 for properties with a rateable value of more than £55,000 a business rate supplement (BRS) of 2p per pound of rateable value has been levied by the GLA to contribute towards the cost of crossrail.
