You could win £25,000!
If you pay your council tax by direct debit
Hammersmith & Fulham (H&F) are participating along with 19 other London councils in a prize draw organized by Bacs*. One lucky council tax payer signed up to pay their council tax by direct debit by 15th July 2010, will win £25,000.
H&F already have 35,000 council tax payers paying this way but we are keen to increase this number. Not only does paying by direct debit save the council money, but it is also the easiest and most efficient way for residents to pay, and gives them a choice of payment date - 1st, 8th, 15th, 21st or 28th of the month, and 11 instead of 10 instalments.
In addition to the main prize, H&F are also offering two residents the chance to win £250 each. This applies to both current and new direct debit payers alike.
What do I need to do to enter the main £25,000 Bacs draw and separate H&F prizes?
If you already pay your council tax by direct debit you don't need to do a thing you will be entered automatically into both prize draws.
If you currently pay by another method and would like to change to direct debit, sign up by 5pm on 15th July 2010 and you will also be entered into both prize draws.
