West London Housing Strategy
Greater London is divided into five housing sub regions - Hammersmith & Fulham is in the west London sub region.
The West London Housing Partnership is made up of the seven west London boroughs: Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow and Kensington & Chelsea, together with housing associations and other stakeholders involved in housing in west London.
The role of the Partnership is to:
- Set the strategic framework for housing services across west London;
- Support the member boroughs in bidding for and allocating resources at a sub regional level;
- Facilitate joint working where appropriate
The strategic aims of the Partnership are to:
- Increase the supply of housing
- Increase the proportion of affordable homes
- Improve the quality of existing homes
- Create sustainable communities
