Unitary Development Plan (UDP)
Adopted in August 2003, the Unitary Development Plan (UDP), together with the London Plan, is the current statutory development plan against which all planning applications in the borough are considered.
The council has started work on new Local Development Documents (LDDs) which will in due course replace the UDP, and be included in the Local Development Framework (LDF) for the borough. The new documents are being prepared in accordance with the Planning & Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.
