SEN statement
Some children have longer term difficulties and do not make the progress we would like even with the extra help and support outlined in our assessment section.
It may be necessary to carry out a statutory assessment of their special educational needs which may result in a statement being drawn up. The statement lays out a plan for meeting the individual's needs, including how the resources should be used.
Children may receive support either in a mainstream primary school or attends a special school. This depends on the outcome of the assessment, to which parents will have contributed their views.
For general enquiries about special educational needs phone 020 8753 3754.
