Stevenage Road Day Centre

Stevenage Road Day Centre provides a day care service for older people living in the community.  The centre is open seven days a week from 8.30am to 4.15pm.

We offer a range of therapeutic activities including arts and crafts, Agewell, quizzes, relfexology and cookery.  Community education tutors run several accredited learning courses each week.  Our activity programme includes outings to places of interest and visiting entertainers.

Lunch and refreshments are provided at the centre at a cost of £2.50 a day.  Transport to and from the centre is available and all our minibuses are wheelchair accessible.

Our aim is to provide a safe environment that meets the physical, social emotional and cultural needs of individual clients.

Access to a day centre placement is coordinated through our social work department.
