Security staff

What do the security staff do?

The council’s security team is made up of 33 dedicated staff members. They are committed to ensuring the security of all council staff and members of the public who use council buildings and services.   They provide a consistent and professional security service to 11 council buildings on a full-time basis including the Hammersmith Town Hall and the Fulham Town Hall. In addition, they oversee a number of temporary contracts. 

The security staff also include key holders who cover burglar and fire alarm call-outs overnight and at weekends 365 days of the year. And the security staff successfully provide security cover for more than 500 functions a year, held mainly at either Hammersmith Town Hall or Fulham Town Hall.
