Restricted and reserve collections

Through careful selection of new purchases and review of existing stock the library service seeks to maintain a comprehensive collection covering all subjects and topics.

In addition the service maintains a number of special collections which provide coverage in depth.

A number of these collections are maintained as the service's contribution to regional specialisation schemes.
