Performance Information

Our Corporate Plan outlines how we intend to deliver on our objectives and priorities over the next 3 years.   In it we publish our performance against the national Best Value Performance Indicators.   We take seriously our responsibility for ensuring the quality of data so that we make service decisions on robust information.  We monitor our performance regularly to ensure high levels of performance.

Our Corporate Management Team receives a quarterly performance monitoring report which covers key Best Value performance indicators.  The report shows a 'traffic light' system of performance.  It also details how we compare with other London Councils.

Performance Reports are regularly received by Scrutiny Committees.  According to the request of the committee, this may be quarterly or six monthly.  Some Scrutiny Committees request to see a wide range of performance information; others have requested a small selection of PIs which are of greatest priority.

The Performance & Procurement team has the responsibility to ensure the Council manages its risks effectively. It achieves this through its Risk Management process. Risk Management is a broad discipline and covers such areas as business planning, performance management, project management and audit amongst others.
