Register for planning application email alerts  - Receive regular updates about planning applications in your area. Planning Applications Weekly List You can comment on planning applications online through the planning database or by email environment@lbhf.gov.uk, quoting the application reference.  Please provide your name and address if you would like to receive an acknowledgement.

Notification of neighbouring properties

The council has a statutory duty to advertise all planning applications either with a site notice (fixed to a lamp post) or letters to neighbours. An advertisement in a local newspaper is required in some cases, such as major developments and developments in Conservation Areas. In all cases people are given 21 days to send in their views.
