Do you need planning permission?

Most building work, engineering work and use of land requires planning permission. The information and links on this page provide helpful advice and guidance on whether permission is required for your development, and if so how you should proceed. We strongly advise that you contact us before starting any building work.

The designation of your property and the area it is in can affect planning permission applications. Click on the links below to find out if your property is:
