Nutrition advice

The Healthy Living Centre in Shepherds Bush runs a Community Nutrition project for local people living in the north of the borough (the wards of College Park, Old Oak, White City, Shepherds Bush, Wormholt and Coningham).

Through the project, residents get to take part in activities that will increase their knowledge of food and nutrition, develop their cooking skills and give them tips on how to shop. The aim is to improve people’s health and eating habits.

Community Nutrition is based at White City Health Centre, Australia Road W12, but many activities take place at local community venues. The project is supported by the Dietetic department of Hammersmith & Fulham Primary Care Trust.
