Looked after children

Being looked after by social services can be confusing and scary and you will probably have lots of questions. We hope you will find some of the answers here. If there is anything else you need to know please talk to your social worker or children's rights officer. 

We talk about social services here because that is probably the name you know us by. Social services is now part of a bigger organisation called The Children's Trust that has been set up to try to make services better for you. The Children's Trust includes professionals from social services, education and health who all work together to provide the support you need.
