Dealing with allegations or concerns:

If a child or young person has made an allegation against a member of staff  in your agency, please use the inter-agency allegations referral form to bring it to the attention of the Local Authority Designated Officer.  For a referral flowchart, explaining the process of dealing with allegations, please click here.  

If your agency is aware of a child who is missing school, please contact the Education Welfare Advisory Team.  For more details, please click here.  

To report concerns about the safety or welfare of a child, please contact the council's Contact and Assessment Team in Children's Services.  For staff contact details, please click here.

 

Making referrals:

The Hammersmith and Fulham Connexions Service  provides a service to young people either working or in school or college in the borough.  There are a range of new services availble at the Connexions One Stop Shop. Connexions also provides a referral directory, which includes a summary of services and providers and their referral procedures.

The Cares Accident Reduction Education and Support(CARES) Project  aims to reduce the numbers of young children involved in accidents at home by advising parents about safety and installing safety equipment. Find out more by reading the CARES Project leaflet, click hereto view. ContactPoint (previously known as the Information Sharing Index) is a national tool which will help services work together more effectively to meet the needs of children, young people and their families.  It will make it much easier for practitioners and teachers working with children and young people to deliver more coordinated support. It will enable authorised staff to find out which other agenices are working with a particular child or young person, aiming to improve multi-agency working and speed up assessments. Please click here to learn more about ContactPoint
