Education - Research and Statistics

The research and statistics section is responsible for the collection, analysis and dissemination of information which is essential for strategic planning and the evaluation of school and pupil performance as well as statistical returns required by the Department for Education & Skills and other external agencies. Information is available on pupil numbers, roll projections, attendance rates, examination results and on a range of research projects. 

The section provides support and training for headteachers, teachers and school governors on understanding and assessing schools' data for target setting and school improvement purposes. They are based on the first floor of Cambridge House.
