Enabling and Housing Association Liaison

The council reviewed its joint commissioning partnerships with housing associations in November 2006 and there are now five preferred housing association partners:

Affinity Sutton

Notting Hill Housing Group

Octavia Housing & Care

Places for People

Threshold Housing - now part of the L&Q Group of housing associations

We are committed to working with our partner housing associations to make housing available to a wide range of H&F residents, including giving the opportunity to access forms of home ownership to a broad range of incomes, particularly those on low to moderate salaries. Working jointly means we can do more and deliver a consistent service, both in terms of the quality of new housing developed and the way both existing and new housing is managed.

The aims of the joint commissioning partnership will be detailed in a Joint Commissioning agreement which will be available on this website in the summer of 2007.

If you require any further information on home ownership opportunities in the borough please visit the new h&f Home Buy team at 164 King Street or telephone 020 8753 6464

We also work with the six other councils in the west London housing sub region.  These are Brent, Ealing, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow and Kensington & Chelsea.  Together we can work more consistently across west London and lobby for the extra funds we need to improve housing.

Please note we cannot help individual tenants resolve issues with their housing association landlord.  Our Links Page may help you contact your landlord.
