The Council publishes a number of policy and governance documents which explain how the Council is structured, which Councillors are responsible for different policy areas, and how the Council works in partnership with external groups in Hammersmith and Fulham. The Compact
The Hammersmith and Fulham Compact outlines the Council's commitment to the voluntary and community sectors.
Many local voluntary and community groups contributed their time and knowledge in developing this document, which aims to guide you through the ways that statutory, voluntary and private sector groups will work together in years to come.
The aim of the Compact is to strengthen the council's relationship with the voluntary and community sectors through a detailed action plan that has been jointly agreed.
The Hammersmith and Fulham Compact
Implementing electronic government in Hammersmith & Fulham (IEG)
The Council has published its plans for electronic government (e-government) in its Implementing Electronic Government (IEG) statement. All councils are required to submit these plans. The IEG explains how the Council plans to meet the government's 2006 target of achieving quick, convenient and seamless access to public services electronically.
