Advice and Employment Shepherds Bush helps local unemployed people to make positive plans for the future through a range of employment support workshops.

Advisors can assist you in creating the right training package for you. Choose from a number of half-day workshops, including Completing Application Forms, CV Writing, Interview Preparation, Effective Job Searching and Writing Cover Letters.

Lead by staff from the Employment Team, these workshops will encourage you to focus on your skills and to take active steps towards returning to work. Participants are encouraged to define their goals and make positive change happen.

The course is run in groups, meaning that you can share your experiences and hopes with other people in a similar situation. Whether you’re feeling nervous about returning to the job market, frustrated about being out of work, or confused about the right job for you, Advice and Employment Workshops can help. 

Advice and Employment Shepherds Bush also offers further support to help you with your career development, including benefits advice, money management skills support and employment rights advice.
