Borough partnership

Hammersmith and Fulham’s Borough Partnership is the executive of the Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) and is responsible for community leadership, strategic planning and performance. The Government has praised the Borough Partnership for its long-term vision, for its performance monitoring systems and commitment to partnership working. The Borough Partnership’s focus is the Community Strategy priorities and, through the Local Public Service Board, delivery of the Local Area Agreement (LAA).

The Borough Partnership's chairman is the Leader of the Council.  It is composed of other executive councillors and representatives from other local public services (such as the police, fire service, NHS and employment services), local business and the voluntary and community sectors.

The LSP brings together the work of a wide range of existing, successful partnerships within the Borough.  The Local Public Service Board manages the Local Area Agreement, a three-year deliver plan for the Community Strategy priorities. The operational partnerships, such as the Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership and the Children and Young People's Partnership, are responsible for programme planning and delivery.
